Exclusively For Students
The Refuge is the student ministry for 6th – 12th graders. We are a Jesus-focused ministry, intent on bringing the Gospel in interactive and exciting ways. We want to bring to life the message of Christ in student’s lives, to raise up and empower the next generation to advance God’s kingdom. We believe that our students can take their next steps to a life of significance with Christ.
We are centered around discipleship relationships to foster an environment for our students to thrive on their journey with Jesus. Our ministry approach is based on both large and small groups, where Godly Relationships can develop, a worship gathering for students to encounter God through worship and teaching and other events such as mission trips and camps.
Sunday morning Awaken is our youth “church” experience. We provide a teen-life focused sermon that establishes each week’s subject. Paired with student led worship, this creates a comfortable yet engaging event to new coming and regularly attending students.
Wednesday night Refuge takes Sunday’s Central Point and breaks it down into a discussion and question time, intertwining it with fun games and activities. Refuge seeks to give students a haven from the the way they traditionally experience learning.
Sunday Night Aftershock small groups are focused on accountability and support. While our Central Point will be addressed, Aftershock is more geared toward personally helping one another grow in Christ. Gender and age specific groups are encouraged to pray for one another and build each other up. Aftershock Boys will meet once per month during the school year and Aftershock Girls will meet once per month during the school year – check the calendar for details.
