A Night of Family Fun!

A Night of Family Fun!

Family Fun Night!

A few Fridays ago, we had a blast at our Harvest Family Fun Night! It was so memorable to see young kids in our community having fun with their parents and siblings! We had balloons flying, popcorn popping, exciting music, and fun competitions! My favorite was competing against other moms to stack the solo cups the fastest (I didn’t win). I also especially enjoyed connecting and getting to know other families, when that opportunity is not common in our current pandemic climate.
With fewer opportunities to connect with other people/parents, I challenge us to take advantage of each opportunity that arises. Whether it’s at a distance at the grocery store, calling a friend you haven’t connected with lately, attending church on Sunday morning, or inviting someone over for a backyard barbecue. It does require a little extra intentionality but as our new sermon series starts talking about our church vision this year of Community on Purpose- we all need to press in and reach out in the capacity we feel comfortable with (hey zoom gatherings can be fun too!)
We, as a church, are hoping to provide more opportunities for your family this year to get out of the house and have some safe and memorable fun! Join us!!
