The Marriage Conference 2023 is a one-and-a-half day weekend conference that equips couples with practical tools and resources. Connect with your spouse over eye-opening talks from marriage experts and just-us projects. Receive practical tools to deal confidently with relationship challenges and weather any season.
Marriage is a lifelong adventure of growing together through every age and stage of life. The happiest couples are those who commit to learning skills that help them weather difficult seasons and deal confidently with relationship challenges. Its your turn to make a great marriage happen.

Conference Speakers: Bob Maddox.
Bob & Judi have been married for 49 years. They have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. Bob has been in ministry for 45 years. First on staff with Cru for 13 years, then pastored for 30 years and then 2 years ago went back working with Cru. He is on the President’s Team of the International Leadership Consortium, training ministry leaders across the world. He and Judi have also been speaking at the Family Life Weekend to Remember Marriage Conferences for the past 23 years. Bob has spoken at over 120 conferences.
Conference Schedule:
Friday Night, 7-9 pm
–Session One: 5 Threats to every marriage
We don’t expect difficult adjustments, the world’s pattern for marriage, we fail to respond well to difficulties, many kinds of “affairs” that threaten every marriage, and selfishness (the root of most of our problems).
–Session Two: Let’s Talk
Different forms of communication, 5 levels of communication, first learn to listen and then respond (now react).
Saturday, 9 am – 4 pm
–Session Three: The Purpose & Plan for Marriage
1st is to Reflect the Image of God, Mutually complete each other & Multiply a Godly Legacy.
-Session Four: Fight Fair
Where does conflict usually come from? Take a legitimate concern, to the legitimate person, at a legitimate time, in a legitimate way, for legitimate reasons.
–Session Five: The Power to Change
The gospel & the person, work & power of the Holy Spirit that changes lives and marriages.
–Session Six: Intimacy in Marriage
Moving towards a healthier sexual relationship. What usually causes problems? How can we fix most of those issues?
–Session Seven: How to Thrive and not Just Survive
3 Essential Habits – habit of extravagant love, generous forgiveness & enthusiastic encouragement.
