We worship God by following Him and seeking what He wants for the world.
While the sabbath no longer holds the same restrictions it once did, our rest is now found in Christ and His eternal rest. The pursuit of rest looks different for each individual.
Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity!”
God calls us to love and serve our neighbor. And who is our neighbor? It might surprise us, but our neighbor is everyone. God has no prejudice.
When Jesus teaches people to pray, he mostly teaches them what the One to whom they pray is like.

Making scripture reading a regular rhythm is crucial in establishing a firm foundation in our lives. Just as the wise man built his house upon the rock, we must use build upon a firm foundation. That foundation comes from the knowledge and practice of reading scripture.
Certain habits in our lives can lead to ruts. These rhythms waste time and get in the way of the right things. How can you work to change the old rhythms and focus on your next spiritual step?
