Wide Is The Road
You say there is only one way to heaven? What if I am on the wrong road...but well meaning and sincere?
The Golden Rule that Jesus taught is fundamentally different than any other philosophically teaching of its kind through history. What Christ taught was an action phrase that requires us to step into others lives. It is much easier to just not cause someone pain than in “everything” do them right. It is much easier to avoid than give, to isolate than surrender, to ignore than care. How can anyone truly implement this golden rule? – The answer of the gospel is that you must start with God – greatest command “love God and love people”– start with God

When your priorities align with scripture, and the Lord is your focus, many worries and anxieties can't compete.
Worry Into Peace
How can we be as it says in Philippians 4, anxious for nothing when there are so many things to be anxious about? There are many pieces to that puzzle: contentment, a thankful heart, good friends, good counsel, a good doctor, and remembering that God knows you and loves you because you are his creation!
Where Your Treasure Is
From an eternal perspective, our days here on earth are relatively few. Jesus tells us to store up for ourselves treasures in heaven. To spend our time, money, and treasure on things that are significant and eternal.
In this next section of the sermon on the mount Jesus is calling his followers to a life of keeping our focus on the Father not on those around us.
