We are on a journey to know and teach Jesus in a real and significant way. We exist to love people, walk in community with them, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, provide a safe place to heal, grow, and gather. Our vision is to raise each other up in community to a place of fullness where everyone in turn can be about God’s ministry, teaching Jesus and caring for others in the church and in the community.

A Place For You

We are a church that believes in Jesus, and a community that loves God and people.

We know how it can feel walking into a church and having no idea what is happening. Many churches have different forms of worship. Why do churches eat the cracker and drink the tiniest cup of juice?

Take a look below to discover a little bit about what happens at church! This is a general overview, but the understanding has to start somewhere.  If you are new to Harvest, we’d love to prepare you for your first visit.

Each week in our services, we have the opportunity to worship God through music. Our desire is the same as that of the Psalmists who desire to

“Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise his holy name.”

Sometimes we sing only a few songs, sometimes we sing more songs. Either way, our music team desires to lead each person in the church to a place of humble worship.

You may see people raising their hands during worship – this is not required by anyone, but some people choose to lift their hands as a posture of gratitude and humility.

Communion is a celebration for people who have chosen to follow Jesus. Each week we take time to reflect and remember the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross for our sins. If you have accepted the forgiveness that came through this sacrifice, feel free to join us as we take the bread and juice. If you do not have a personal relationship with Christ, we welcome you to pass the tray as it comes to you.

Baptism is a public statement about your relationship with Jesus. It’s the first step the Bible outlines for EVERY believer after trusting Him.  The word “baptize” means to “immerse or dip under water.” Water baptism by immersion is a public display of obedience in following Christ’s example for his baptism (Matthew 3:16)

The sermon is a message from the Pastor, or another speaker, designed to deliver God’s word in a dynamic way.  If you miss any of our sermons or need to get caught up on the current series, check our our Sermons page for audio recordings.

We know that children and youth are important to God. Our children’s ministry is not simple babysitting. We care that our ministry is fun, biblical, safe, and facilitates Godly relationships.
