How is Harvest worshiping together during this time?
On Sundays, we invite you to join us on campus for worship gatherings at 9:30 or 11 am. If you aren’t ready to gather in-person, join us online for Church at Home, a live streamed worship service featuring prayer, Scripture reading, worship, preaching, and more. You can find the order of worship, weekly resources, some next steps, and more on our livestream page, which will be updated weekly on Fridays. We also live-stream to the Harvest Facebook Page.
We are excited to be able to open the building for small gatherings and worship services. While it might not look and feel like Harvest has in the past, that’s okay. Church is made up of the body of believers, not the building.
Gatherings are limited to 25% capacity in our Sanctuary, with spacing for social distancing between households. Masks are optional.
As always, we want to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40) and do what we can to protect the health and well-being of others. We each have a personal responsibility in this, and we encourage you to prayerfully consider how to act in faith and love as God leads you.
Feel free to bring your kids with you or continue to worship with us from home for now. Uptown Kid’s Ministry is available for ages 15 months-5th grade during the 9:30 am service. If class is full, Uptown Kids has Busy Bags available for kids ages Preschool – 5th Grade filled with fun activities to keep your kids engaged during service.
Middle School service is available Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am in the Youth Sanctuary.
As we gather, here are some general guidelines we plan to follow:
• masks are optional. Please wear one if you want, but we will not be asking anyone about their vaccination status.
• honoring personal preferences with physical distancing
• creating a “touchless” experience as much as possible to avoid the spread of germs (propping open doors, etc.)
• requesting that anyone with a fever or other viral symptoms stay home
• continuing to provide online services for those who choose to stay home
• providing adequate hand sanitizer stations, and
• regularly disinfecting commonly touched surfaces
For anyone not able to attend in person on any given week, we will broadcast our services over Facebook and on our website as we have done for the past few months.
During this season, we will continue to be the church, learning to live like Christ while reaching out in his name.
With grace and blessing,
15 months – 5th Grade
Sunday morning kids classes are open for ages 15 months – 5th grade. Although classes will be slightly modified and safety measures will be in place to protect both your children and our volunteers, we are so excited for this opportunity to teach about Jesus and gather together! Volunteers and children should wear masks while in class, according to current CDC recommendations.
